BELKA-STUDIO FOR SOUND AND FORM is a collective art studio based in Sofia since 2018 and created by the artists: Martian Tabakov, Valentina Sciarra, Mila Yaneva, Petar Sapundjiev, and Martin Penev. It is a multidisciplinary space of creative community dedicated to every form of artistic expression regardless of political affiliation, sexuality, race, sex, age, or belief;

Its main purpose is to develop one’s artistic practice through the sharing of ideas and collaboration. Every year Belka organizes an open studio (long weekend event), during which each member, along with some guest authors, takes part in a collective exhibition followed by concerts, performances, and moments of collective discussion.

During the year Belka is open to the public for studio visits. In collaboration with other artists and galleries, it also engages in workshops such as book binding and ceramics workshops, as well as theatre performances that fill the entire space.
