Nina Wedberg Thulin
Nina holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the San Francisco Art Institute. While in the United States, she studied contemporary American art and, above all, minimalism. At Stockholm University, she studied Art History and came into contact with the Joseph Beuys and Fluxus movements. Beuy’s work aroused great interest in Nina, who immediately wrote to Das Freie Universität, read everything, and traveled in his footsteps. Eventually, the trips led to his studio in Düsseldorf and a meeting took place.
Nina works with multidimensional designs and likes to mix media; sculpture, painting, film, photography, embroidery, and combinations thereof.
