In the summer of 2024, four members of Studio 44 together with the invited Berlin-based artist Hanna Sjöberg presented the exhibition ORT at Maskinhuset in Kärrgruvan and at Galleri Norberg. A standalone continuation of the project is now being shown. We gather around concepts that can be associated with the large supporting voids: shaft, cutting, blasting, excavation, and the different meanings of the word ort in terms of direction and indication of place.
