The newly established independent publisher Drake & Co is releasing its first two books: En delvis lyckad nattnavigering by Robert Ulvede and Helter Skelter by Johan Christiansson Drake.

To celebrate, we’re hosting a book launch at Studio 44 on Thursday, 13 August. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the evening’s programme begins at 7:00 pm. There will be readings, refreshments for body and soul, and the publisher’s next author, Johan Nordbeck, will also read from his forthcoming poetry collection Glöm aldrig det här ögonblicket.

Johan Christiansson Drake is a poet, novelist, social services administrator, and drummer in the band Bitch Boys. He is the author of five books.

Robert Ulvede is a poet, librarian, and manager of an antiquarian bookshop. With En delvis lyckad nattnavigering, he makes his return to poetry. He has previously published four books.

Johan Nordbeck is, in our opinion, one of the finest poets of his generation. His new poetry collection, Glöm aldrig det här ögonblicket, will be published by Drake & Co in autumn 2026. He has previously published around ten poetry collections, several of them in collaboration with Jockum Nordström.
