An exhibition with artists from Albania, Italy and Sweden.

It began in Vaqarr, outside Tirana. During a month-long artist residency, we worked, travelled, listened and encountered new artists and stories.

Then Enver Hoxha’s former residence opened its doors to the public for the first time. We entered. We encountered works that stayed with us. Three of those artists are now exhibiting with us in Stockholm.

Six artists. The conversation continues.

Songs bring the memory of Albanian youth to life. Gardens burst into colour. Beads meet building materials. A man carries his passport into a performance. Women dressed as men challenge inherited identities. Unfinished houses become sculptures.

What remains when we leave?
