Ninar Esber is an international performance – video artist and writer. She had her education at Ecole Nationale Supérieur D´Arts de Paris – Cergy. Has regularly presented her works since the 1990`s. Among other sites, she has performed exhibitions at The Biennale in Venice, Centre Pompidou, Paris and at Göteborg International Biennal for Contemporary Art (GIBCA).
To change is proud to present Ninar Esbers work Triangle. A video composed by a number of quotations accompanied by a rythmic sound by the musician Jacno. The quotations coming from sharia laws formulate how women are supposed to behave in society. These words also express imperatives for action.
The exhibition is performed with the support of The Cultural Administration of Stockholm.
