The upcoming exhibition entitled “Film as Art” at Studio 44, exhibits seven artists. The theme moves freely around an experience of time and space, a web of
film, theatre, painting, poetry, life, and fiction.
In the small gallery, An Ordinary Day Film Festival returns in a different format with “Performance on Film” between April 21 – May 7. What distinguishes the festival is its focus on art and artistic expression. The program is part of Stockholm Culture Night on 22 April when the gallery is open between 18:00-24:00.
The exhibition “Film as Art” represents a wide spectrum with everything from painting, stop-motion film, and experimental film for installations and sculptures with film.
In the film program “Performance on Film,” the format is a short film from a few minutes to 20 minutes.
The organizers have selected films of performances with the commonality that they have tender humor and secret bottoms.
